About the Author
Matt Doeden is a freelance author and editor from Minnesota. He’s written numerous children’s books on sports, music, current events, the military, extreme survival, and much more. My daughter is a fan of survival-type tv shows and outdoor activities. I thought she might like this book simply for the "can you survive" aspect. I now know she loves the whole choose your own adventure genre and has read this book no less than 15 times in the past month. Because the reader's decisions direct parts of the story line, one reading of the book may be quite short because your choices didn't work out so well, while other times the story is pretty long. She is already asking for more of the Can You Survive books for Christmas, so I'm calling this one a win!
My grandson loves this series of books. He and his friends pass them around to each other so they can read all of them!
Me and my kiddo read this over and over. I love it!!!
Great to keep kids engaged in reading. Choose your own ending, they want to see what's going to happen.
Read these with my 8 year old son, a little harsh but he loves them
