The drawings are so good ! The story is so cute every child should have this book. I will be ordering it for my grandchildren .
I love this book based on a true story about a prematurely born hippo at the Cincinnati zoo. The illustrations are adorable, and the story is fun and inspirational. I plan to send copies to my family and friends who have young children.
It's rare in today's world where everything is computer images and graphics. This is a great story for kids and something worth getting as hand drawn images are getting very rare. Richard did an awesome job and highly recommended adding to your kids collection. Great story!
My daughter loves this book. The pictures are adorable. Only thing is in my option it should have maybe got a bit more in-depth on why this hippo is so special. I had to look to the back story on this hippo and tell my daughter. She kept asking “why?†“Why?†and she’s only 4. Other than that it’s a wonderful little book.
I read about this endearing hippo at the Cincinnati Zoo, and wanted to buy ithe book about Fiona for my grandson. It is such a sweet story with the most beautiful illustrated pages. I look forward to taking my grandson one day to meet Fiona in person!
